Join us for an hour and get a tour of the building and watch us present our programs, projects, and events. If you want to know more about Grand Street Community Arts, this is a great introduction to what we do! You might find a way you want to get involved, too! Meet us at the Arts Center on 68 Grand Street to begin the tour and presentation.

Each walker found friends and supporters to sponsor their walk and have, combined, raised over $1,000 dollars for GSCA. All of the proceeds will go toward the Youth Arts: Grand Street Kids Club 2010 Summer Program. This program provides inner-city youth the opportunity to learn about various forms of art while socializing with other children their age. Children also get the chance to visit the New York State Museum and go swimming at the Lincoln Park Pool. If you are interested in registering your child, see the Youth Arts Program page. They helped us scrape and paint our front entrance space of the Arts Center, put up sheet-rock and build shelving for our office space, and organized our art supplies, tools and other resources for the summer season. A few of the the Yale Group teamed up with Emma Willard students to work in the Youth Organics Garden. Their group work was inspiring and enabled us to get some much needed projects near completion.
