The second of our Grand Walks takes place this Saturday, a Sound Walk at the Tivoli Lake Preserve.
This 45 minute Sound Walk through Tivoli Lake Preserve will be led by artist/composer Stephanie Loveless. Meet at the Gazebo behind Livingston School Apartments from 2:45-3:10 for a 3:15 departure.
Please register below so we have a sense of how many attendees will be coming. We may add a second group if the interest is high.
Soundwalking , as defined by Hildegard Westerkamp, is “any excursion whose main purpose is listening to the environment.” Stephanie Loveless is an artist and composer who lives on Grand Street. She will lead the sound walk in this urban nature preserve that she has fallen in love with.
The Tivoli Lake Preserve Sound Walk is part of Grand Walks, a series of five walks taking place between July 4 and August 18th.
Thanks to the City of Albany, Mayor’s Office of Energy & Sustainability and to the Livingston School Apartments.
