Join Board Members Lawrence and Ellen Becker for a lunchtime tour of St. Anthony's. This event is a Thank You to donors and volunteers who have installed heat in the building, a presentation of our Design Plans for 2016, and the Kick-Off of our Winter Fundraising Campaign.
Board Members Lawrence and Ellen Becker will host a lunchtime tour of St. Anthony's Church as part of #GivingTuesday. Grand Street Community Arts has been awarded $23000 from the New York State Council on the Arts for Architecture and Planning. In 2016, GSCA will be working with TAP on re-designing the basement into new program space, to be used by WCAA, and other community and cultural organizations. On Tuesday, December 1st, Larry and Ellen Becker will open up the basement for an hour of dreams and speculation, gratitude and inspection. Thanks to donors and volunteers, notably Edwards Grimes-Carrion, St. Anthony's Church has heat this winter, for the first time since the 1990s! The basement of St. Anthony's has been cleared out to make room for the heat installation, leaving the space wide open for the redesign process to begin. GS Christopher from the Troy Architecture Program and Alexis Bhagat will be on hand to answer questions about the 2016 renovation plans. Registration requested.
December 1st, 2015 1:00 PM   through   2:00 PM
