YouthARTS
After-School Art Club Visiting Artist Project Leader
After-School Art Club Assistant

Are you interested in working with kids? Do you like the arts? We are looking for dedicated individuals who are interested in working with kids at the Grand Street Arts Club, an after-school arts club for kids ages 4-12. Our mission is to support the creativity and imagination of children. In return you will learn valuable skills working with children and how to run a successful arts program for children. The After-School Arts Club began this fall and runs through the academic school year, Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:15 PM – 5:15 PM.

BoardedUP
BoardedUP Artists

We are beginning a new BoardedUP series starting in March and are looking for new artists to paint a piece for a window on the side of the former St. Anthony’s church, which is now Grand Street Community Arts Center. Grand Street Community Arts provides each artist with a plywood board. Artists are responsible for supplying their own paints and dropping the board off at the Arts Center on the designated date. Each board will be a donation to Grand Street Community Arts and will be featured for one month on the side of our Arts Center and sold at the 4th Annual BoardedUP Silent Auction in the fall of 2011.
